"Join us in ICF Chiba Toastmasters" By Kai-chan

High English proficiency can't be reached by simply chatting or viewing English DVD materials aimlessly.
It is essentially important to listen, read, write and speak sophisticated English.
ICF members aim at such high level English through members' mutual efforts, stimulation and enlighenment in meetings based on well-prepared educational mterials (manuals), which are provided by Toastmasters International (TMI) headquartered in Calfornia, USA.

Additionally, as one of the unique activities of the club's own, ICF also provides members with programs to familiarize them with current topics through group discussions and reporting, and through occasional invitations of foreign guests.

英語の上達は単に仲間内で話し合って、何となく教材を聴く、読む、だけでは絶対に上達しません。格調の高い英語を聴き、読み、書き、そして喋ることが何よりも大事です。ICFでは例会で米国のToastmasters International (TMI)の発行する教材(manual)に基づき、メンバーがお互いが研鑽、啓発を図りつつ、格調、レベルの高いスピーチを目指して活動しています。更にはICF独自のプログラムとして時事問題に関する英語討論、及びそのまとめ発表（いずれも英語で）を行います。又時にはnative speakerを招聘し、時事問題について理解を深めるプログラムも行っています。
