一宮AAEドッグスクラブについて

一般にセラピードッグと呼ばれる訪問活動犬達と人（ハンドラー）のペアで高齢者福祉施設、障がい者支援施設や幼稚園、小学校等教育現場を訪問しています。主に、動物介在活動・教育の分野で活動しています。

We, the human volunteer handlers and their trained dogs - commonly called the "therapy dogs," team up and visit nursing homes, welfare facilities for the physically challenged, kindergartens, and elementary schools to make people feel happy and be motivated. We plan and carryout AAA and AAE programs.

★　動物介在活動　・・・　高齢者福祉施設の形態、運営側のご希望、対象者の介護度やニーズに沿った活動内容を企画・実施しております。

★　動物介在教育　・・・　教育現場において、各教室毎学習のねらいに沿って教育支援犬として有効的な教育ツールとなるよう企画、準備、実施しております。

★　年４回のセラピードッグ適性試験、月１回のセラピードッグ育成勉強会等も実施しております。

当クラブのセラピードッグ達は一般の家庭で飼育されている普通の家庭犬達です。人が好き・安定した性格、健康で1歳以上、屋内飼育、人道的な方法で育てられ、活動に必要なマナーが入っていれば適性試験を受けることができます。
クラブのトレーニングポリシーは、犬にフェアであること。科学的根拠に基づく方法で強制を使わないトレーニングをします。

Our therapy dogs are all household pets who live with their handlers. If your dog loves to be around people, is mentally and physically healthy, is over one year of age, lives indoor, is trained humanely and knows the basic manners, then you and your dog are welcome to take the evaluation exam.
Our training policy is: Be fair to the dogs.　We are committed to science-based force free training.


セラピードッグ適性試験に合格した後、健康診断・細菌検査で人畜共通感染症の要因キャリアーでない事を確認、（虫・菌が確認された場合は治療）、クラブで認定ＩＤを発行、動物介在活動の現場から活動開始となります。

試験練習会参加と受験には計４千円程の費用がかかります。合格、認定後はクラブが人畜共通感染症の健康診断費用を負担します。ユニフォーム代(1500円～2500円)は各自でご負担頂いておりますが（すみませんm(__)m）、色や素材、形はご自由に選んで頂けます。またセラピードッグとハンドラー共に継続してスキルアップしていく事を目的とし、自由参加ですが月１度２名のトレーナーの元で練習会・勉強会を行っております（メンバー無償です）。クラブ会費等はございません。

メンバーは皆ボランティアです。それぞれ職も経験も異なりますが、共通してあるのは、犬猫への愛情です！愛する犬達が対象者に素晴らしい影響を与えていると実感できる事、勉強会を通じて活動に必要な技術やドッグトレーニングの技術が上達していく事にやりがいを感じています。

We are all volunteers. We have different professional backgrounds and experiences, but we all have one thing in common: Love for the animals！It is such a pleasurable experience witnessing how our beloved dogs are making real differences to other people’s lives. Also, we have so much fun learning in our study seminars and honing our AAI and dog training skills.

地域の高齢者福祉、障がい者福祉、次世代の育成支援を、一般の家庭動物と一緒に行い社会に貢献する事は、対象者の皆様をはじめ、施設の皆様、ボランティアメンバー、活動動物全員に精神面や健康面のメリットがある事、また一般の家庭動物に対する意識向上、動物愛護精神の向上に繋がると信じて活動しております。ご支援の程、どうぞよろしくお願い申し上げます。

It is our belief that giving back to the community and nurturing the next generation through our programs would benefit everyone involved: clients, facility staffs, students, volunteers, and animals physically and psychologically. We also believe that if more people become aware of how much a regular pooch can contribute to our society, it would also raise awareness for the animal welfare.
